"Experience with TD Bank's Customer Support"
I recently reached out to TD Bank's customer service, and I gotta say, I was really impressed with how they handled my call. Right from the start, when I called their toll-free line, a friendly and professional rep picked up and was ready to help me out.
The rep took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure they understood what I was dealing with. They showed a solid grasp of the situation. But on the flip side, I've been stuck waiting for over an hour just to get someone to answer the phone and reset my password. If I didn't have the day off, I wouldn't have the time to waste waiting for help. This kind of customer service is just plain awful!

"This bank lacks ethics big time."
This bank is truly the worst in all of Canada. They blatantly encourage discrimination and racism among their management ranks. It's them who are behind the spread of unethical practices.

"My account got shut down without a heads-up!"
Out of the blue, my account was deactivated because of inactivity after five months, and I had no clue it was happening—there was nothing on my account page about it. So, while I was on vacation in Morocco, I ran into trouble trying to use my card at ATMs. It's really annoying that they’re holding onto my money, but I can’t get to it. This whole thing feels like I'm being robbed!

"Experience with TD/Visa: A Cautionary Tale"
I recently had a rough time with TD/Visa that I just gotta talk about. It felt like a total scam.
I’ve been a loyal TD Bank customer for years and thought I’d give their TD/Visa credit card a shot. The application seemed easy enough, and I got approved in just a few days. But that’s when the trouble began.
First off, the interest rates on the card were outrageous. Even with a solid credit score, I found myself slapped with a ridiculously high interest rate. Just like many other banks, TD Bank teams up with Visa. But using their card can be a gamble. If there’s ever a dispute, Visa usually backs the merchant instead of the cardholder. From my recent experience, even if you can prove a charge is fraudulent, TD Bank will still side with Visa. It looks like both companies care more about their profits than their customers. After a long and frustrating back-and-forth with TD/Visa, I ended up losing $400. So, when it comes to big purchases, I’d recommend going with an AMEX card. They’re known for really having their members' backs.

"The TD Visa app manager was really rude and not helpful at all."
I've had it with their awful customer support.

"A Native Speaker's Take on This Service"
Using TD Bank for my banking needs is super easy. I can quickly check my balances and transfer funds online without any hassle. However, I've run into some issues trying to log in, especially with the mobile app. Plus, it looks like their website often goes through maintenance, which leads to some downtime now and then.

"Highly Recommend TD Bank for Your Financial Needs"
I've been a customer for quite a while, and honestly, I can't say enough good things about TD Bank. Their customer service is really impressive, with helpful and friendly folks ready to lend a hand. I've had no issues at all during my time with them. The online banking system is super easy to use, making it a breeze to handle my accounts and transactions. Plus, they have a great variety of products and services that cover all my financial bases.

"My bank doesn't seem to roll out the welcome mat."
Ever get that vibe of being unwelcome at your bank? Do you feel like they just don’t care about helping you out? It’s not fair to judge a whole bank just because one branch dropped the ball. If you want top-notch service and a crew that’s truly eager to help, you should check out the little branch at 15th and Alton in Miami Beach. They’ve got enough staff to handle all your banking needs, and everyone there is super friendly and efficient. I gotta give a shoutout to Angel Mendez, who really went the extra mile to assist me and my family with some tricky issues in a genuine, kind, and thoughtful way.

"TD Bank's Poor Customer Service Cost Us $300,000"
This bank is just the worst! My fiancée took out $300,000 from her accounts and moved it to a different bank since TD Bank has been totally unhelpful. Even after making more than three calls and being assured of a return call, they didn’t get back to us. In contrast, the new bank quickly handled our issues and even gave us a better interest rate.

"Ordered a new debit card after losing mine."
I recently lost my debit card and, since I don’t have a vehicle, I opted for home delivery of the replacement. What I didn’t expect was that this would lock me out of my online banking app. When I reached out to customer support to ask about using my username to access my account, they told me it couldn’t be provided over the phone. This is super frustrating because I can’t make any payments on my Visa card. I’m planning to swing by a branch on Monday to see if I can sort this out, but it’s clear they really need to improve their system so customers aren’t completely shut out of their online accounts.

"This service is truly the worst I've ever dealt with. I'd give it zero stars if that was an option."
Review: I recently had a really frustrating experience at this place. I stood in line for 15 minutes, watching their only teller help just one customer. To my surprise, they were having a nice chat, totally ignoring the line of six people behind me. Even though we were right in front of the manager's glass-walled office, nothing was done. In the end, I chose to walk out, along with a couple of others. It's really disappointing to see that even with their financial success, they have big, empty spaces, old computers, and staff who just don’t seem to care. I even took the time to write to them, suggesting they should come to my house and sit through a 15-minute wait to pick up my deposit.

"Avoid TDBank Like the Plague!"
I really can't recommend banking with TDBank. They've shown themselves to be quite unreliable in safeguarding their customers during debit card issues. Their customer service? Totally incompetent! They keep messing up transaction amounts, which have varied from $400 down to $195. On top of that, they wrongly claim that we gave the green light for purchases we never authorized. Seriously, it's crucial to steer clear of this bank.

"TD Bank is truly fantastic! Highly recommend them."
Not sure if it’s just TD BANK in PA (especially Philly), but my experience has been way different from what others say - I really dig TDBank! The Customer Service Team is super friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Whenever I call, they sort out my issues right away. There was this one time I had some fraudulent charges from Amazon, and they were being a pain about it. But TD Bank told me not to stress, gave me quick preliminary credits, and went to bat for me to get my cash back. They even assured me that I wouldn’t have to lift a finger as they’d handle everything. I just wish I had started banking with them sooner - I’ve had some rough times with other banks! Honestly, TD Bank deserves an A++++++.
"Unbelievable Level of Incompetence"
I had some GIC investments with TD Canada Trust, and back in August 2022, I made the decision to switch them over to a RIFF. To get this done, I had to go to the bank in person at their branch on 180 Dundas St. in Toronto. The staff member who helped me told me that 15% of my monthly payment, which was $600, would be held back for taxes. At first, I thought that was fine.
But then, during the first five months of getting payments, only 10% was taken out instead of the agreed 15%. To my shock, in the sixth month (January 2023), there was no tax withheld at all. Worried about this mix-up, I did some digging online and found out that since my yearly payments were over $7,000, the tax should have been 20% each month. So, I should have been getting a monthly payment of $480. Not happy with this situation, I filed a complaint with the bank.
In reply to my complaint, the bank made a correction, and the next month, I got about $475, which was still wrong. I was really frustrated and raised my concerns again. In March, I got a payment of $450. At this point, the bank took my case to their top customer service level. They promised me that the issue was sorted out and gave me the missing $30, plus an extra $70 as an apology for the hassle.
Finally, in April, I received a payment of $480, which was a relief. But then in May, I got two payments: one for $480 and another for $393.76. It’s just baffling how a bank can keep messing up a straightforward RIFF payment. It makes me wonder what other errors they might be making. If they can’t handle a million-dollar investment properly, it really makes me question the competence of TD Canada Trust. Honestly, they shouldn’t be managing people’s money if they can’t do it right.
"Payback Service is truly outstanding!"
Last year, I went through a rough patch when my account was compromised, and I ended up losing a good chunk of cash. The bank was no help whatsoever, which really bummed me out. But I'm thrilled to share that, thanks to Payback Service, I've managed to get back over half of what I lost. I’ve always had my doubts about these recovery firms, but I’m really glad I took the plunge with them. I hope my experience can help someone else out there. If you’ve been scammed online, I highly suggest you contact the recovery experts at Payback Service to assist you in getting your money back.
